The raw material used in the making process of our pottery
products is basically from stoneware clays. The appropriate clay used is single clay , directly obtained and carried from a local source.
These special characteristics of clay have become one of the factors that create an excellent result to our products.

Once clay has been mixed, it was kneaded into workable mass and
prepared for production. These are several distinctive techniques used in our pottery making process, such as pinching, coiling, wheel
throwing , slabbing, jiggering, hand building, machine pressing or combination. During the process a design or decoration might be added to it. Below, are most applicable decoration executed to the products :
1. Brush painting application.
2. Sculpturing application should be applied before the firing process
and the clay must be under semi-dry condition (green ware).

Once the clay have been shaped and formed, the final touch is
given to their outer look. A more elaborate polishing is performed, giving its glossier finishing, particularly to daily use household products.
Allowing them to dry for several days will make greater strength to the
products and can eliminate any excess water left in the ceramic's bodies.

The last process after all of the preparations are completed will
be the firing process. Firing techniques used are determined by several
factors, which are very important to the success and to the outcome of the firing process. The techniques could be :

1. Biscuit Firing as to obtain a good result of the ceramics,it should be completely made to dry under the approximate temperature of 800-900 °C for hours.
2. Glazed Firing (for some products) will be conducted after the
ceramics passed through the biscuit firing process which then be covered by glazed. This process is performed for approximately 24-25 hours at 1250 °C, depending upon the size of the products made.

In each of firing process the temperature will be gradually
increased in order to avoid any damages to the ceramic's body or on to its glazes.
